We Are Hear is a Los Angeles-based artist empowerment label/publishing/management/production collective founded by multi-platinum producers Linda Perry and Kerry Brown.With a focus on publishing, sync, licensing, management, recording, event production, and consultation, We Are Hear’s mission is to foster a creative community of artists, providing them with mentorship and freedom usually restricted by major labels. Under the leadership of Brown and Perry, who last year became the first woman in 15 years to be nominated for the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year,most of the artists signed to We Are Hear are women (including Natasha Bedingfield, Imogen Heap, Jesse Jo Stark, Terror Jr., Willa Amai and Frances Lion among others) as well as nearly all of the company’s employees.

Award-winning multi-platinum music producer, artist manager, and Film/TV/Event producer Kerry Brown is known for his recording credits for The Smashing Pumpkins, Miley Cyrus, Ziggy Marley, as well as his film and TV credits for Blow, P.S. I Love You, Scream and many more. Involved in the marketing/production of over 50 million records sold, Kerry has produced/exec produced and consulted on numerous high-level entertainment properties, from music recording to motion picture production, film and TV soundtracks. His knowledge of emerging digital trends is extensive, used in his production of the live multimedia show BLACKOUT, a Collab between PepsiCo and the NFL to celebrate the Super Bowl, and #808 and #909 day for the Roland Music Corp. Kerry also produced His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday party and Santa Barbara’s legendary Inaugural Starry Nites Festival.  

Beginning her musical journey as the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes, Linda Perry has had a profound impact on pop culture through her work as a producer and songwriter. Her resounding influence on female empowerment resonates through her sincere artistry, which has helped shape the sounds of musicians such as P!nk, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, and Adele. Perry was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2015 as a testament to her status as a musical icon.
